Just a few days before the official Galaxy Unpacked event, almost everything about the upcoming Galaxy Watch 8 series is now leaked – from design and glasses to pricing. This year the lineup is expected to include three new smartwatches: standard Galaxy Watch 8, The Return of the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025). While the first leak was indicated on a corrected design and some feature changes, it spreads the legs on the latest leaks practically everything. Not only are we looking at the hardware upgrade throughout the board, but we are also seeing some major changes in storage, battery capacity and performance design.

As Delabs via 9to5googleThe three watches will go to the ship with the latest Samsung’s latest UI 8 watch interface and new Exynos W1000 chip built on the 3Nm process. The Galaxy Watch 8 will be available in two sizes – 40 mm and 44 mm – while the classic falls in 46 mm edition. The Galaxy Watch Ultra, as the name suggests, is the largest and most rugged of the lot with a 47 mm titanium case. Battery life is growing noticeable this year, with ultra packing a huge 590mAh battery, while the classic and standard models take 445mAh and 435mAh respectively.

The Galaxy Watch 8 also doubles internal storage for 64 GB compared to 32 GB on regular watch 8. According to the leakage, all three watches come with Super AMOLED displays that are capable of hitting up to 3,000 notes of brightness. Ultra, Classic and 44 mm Watch 8 models have a 1.47-inch display (480×480), while the 40 mm version plays a 1.34-inch panel (438×438) with a 327 PPI pixel density on all versions. For durability, the standard watch 8 gets an aluminum frame, uses classic stainless steel, and ultra has a hard titanium build, which is all added with safers.

Across the range, the censor suite includes all essential items such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, light sensor, ECG and BIA. Watch 8 will reportly come with a silicon sports strap, the classic includes a hybrid leather-rabba design, while Ultra is expected to ship with an extreme sport bracelet.

Prices in France suggest slight increase for Galaxy Watch 8 and Classic, with Ultra maintains previous year’s premium pricing.

The Galaxy Watch 8 series is expected to officially declare Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked Event with Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 in New York on 9 July.
