Today marks the end of pre-orders and the beginning of global availability for the Galaxy S26 series. The new flagship series is a smash hit with pre-orders increasing by “double digit” percentage. Correction, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is a smash hit, while the other two models are also dated.
Samsung reports that the S26 Ultra accounted for 70% of pre-orders. Presumably, this is for global pre-orders as this number matches reports from Korea, but is less than the 80% share from the US.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and S25 Ultra
The press release also adds some details on the performance of the S26 series in Europe. Galaxy S26 Ultra pre-orders were up 20% from last year (compared to the S25 Ultra). Ultra increased its share of total pre-orders by 10%, hurting the Galaxy S26 and S26+. Nevertheless, pre-orders for the S26 series have overtaken pre-orders for last year’s S25 series in Europe.
Apart from the phones, Samsung also unveiled new Galaxy Buds4 series headphones. They were also on pre-order till today.
