Samsung Galaxy S26, S26 Ultra coming on February 25 and here are all the key details
Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy S26 series in India later this month. Here’s everything you need to know about the new flagship phone ahead of its expected launch.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S26 series soon. The Korean giant will likely launch its new flagship devices later this month. However, the past few weeks have been full of rumors giving us some hints as to what to expect not only from the Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus, but also from the top-of-the-line Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Although the phone maker hasn’t revealed much officially, the report indicates that we could potentially see some big changes in the Galaxy S26 lineup. And here’s everything we know so far.
Samsung Galaxy S26 series design
Samsung is reportedly planning a significant design update for the Galaxy S26 series. The new S series is expected to get a new integrated camera module, similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The Galaxy S26 Ultra will likely come with more rounded corners as well as some new colors.
According to the leak, the Galaxy S26 Ultra may come in a new purple shade as well as other colors like black, white, and silver. The device is said to be slightly thinner than the S25 Ultra at 7.9mm.
Samsung Galaxy S26 series display
The standard Galaxy S26 is expected to have a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Whereas a 6.7-inch AMOLED unit can be used in the Galaxy S26 Plus. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will likely come with a 6.9-inch AMOLED display. The entire Galaxy S26 series is rumored to use the company’s new M14 panels for better visuals and efficiency.
Additionally, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will likely introduce a new in-built screen privacy feature that can block sensitive content from viewers. Unlike privacy screen protectors, this one will work within the display itself.
Samsung Galaxy S26 series performance
Samsung is likely adopting a split-chipset strategy for the Galaxy S26 series. Depending on the market, all three devices will likely use either Samsung’s new Exynos 2600 chipset, or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It is not yet clear which processor will come to us.
Samsung Galaxy S26 series cameras
According to reports, the Galaxy S26 Ultra may retain the same camera setup as its predecessor – a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide, a 10-megapixel 3x telephoto, and a 50-megapixel 5x periscope lens. The front camera is expected to be a 12-megapixel unit.
The Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus will also likely come with the same camera setup as their predecessors – a 50-megapixel primary, a 12-megapixel ultrawide, and a 10-megapixel 3x telephoto.
Samsung Galaxy S26 series battery and charging
It looks like Samsung isn’t jumping on the silicon-carbon battery trend just yet. Reports indicate that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will use the same 5,000mAh battery as the S25 Ultra. However, the device may support wired charging up to 60W.
The base Galaxy S26 is expected to come with a 4,300mAh battery, while the Galaxy S25 has a 4,000mAh battery. The Galaxy S26 Plus, on the other hand, will likely use a 4,900mAh cell.
There are also rumors that the Galaxy S26 series may support Qi2 wireless charging, essentially making it compatible with Apple’s MagSafe.
Samsung Galaxy S26 series expected price and launch
The Galaxy S26 series will likely be launched during the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, rumored to be held on February 25, 2026, in San Francisco, USA.
Although we don’t know much about the potential price of the Galaxy S26 series yet, the company may keep it unchanged from last year.
For reference, the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus are priced starting at Rs 80,999 and Rs 99,999, respectively. Galaxy S25 Ultra came with a price tag of Rs 1,29,999.
