Samsung Galaxy S26 rumors begin to come: Everything we know about it
The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is rumored to bring thinner bezels, upgraded cameras and potential rebranding of ultra models. Let’s take a look that the next genes are telling rumors from Galaxy flagship.
Listen to the story

The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series is still fresh, but the rumor mill is already buzzing with speculation about its successor, Galaxy S26 series. The next-Galaxy Galaxy series is expected to debut in early 2026. While the latest S25 series was unveiled with significant upgrades such as Thinner Bezels, a Titanium Build, Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset and 200MP’s main cameras, the initial leaks suggest that the S26 series is rumored to promote design and performance.
From thinner bezels and under-display cameras to a possible rebranding of ultra model, everything about the Galaxy S26 series is buzzing here.
Thin bezels and big performances
One of the most consistent rumors around the Galaxy S26 series is that Samsung is planning to make Bezel even more thin. The Galaxy S25 Ultra was already standing out with its ultra-split 1.52 mm bezels, and the concept images leaked from Pandflashpro suggest that S26 Ultra may also include slimmer bezels. If the rumors come true, Samsung can potentially create the first modern flagship smartphone to play near a 7 -inch display without increasing the overall dimensions of the device.
Under-display camera?
Another major change required in the next-Galaxy Ultra is the possibility of an under-display camera (UDC). According to a report by Lekikar Kro_roe, the Samsung S26 is testing the UDC technology for Ultra, which will allow the company to eliminate visible punch-hole cutouts for the selfie camera.
However, this report is being questioned. Another tipster, Pandaflashpro, argues that the S26 Ultra is unlikely to adopt the UDC due to Samsung performance boundaries. Current UDC technology often has fuzzy image quality because the camera must capture the light through several layers of the display. Therefore, Leiker suggests that since Samsung focuses a lot on the camera quality of the major sales points of its major equipment, it is unlikely that the company will compromise a selfie performance for a future design.
EXYNOS 2600 Bring back?
Samsung fully equipped the Galaxy S25 series with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset as it faced yield issues with Exinos 2500. Now, according to reports, Samsung is allegedly working on the Axinos 2600 for the S-26 series to bring its in-house chip back into the heart of its flash. GSMarena revealed that the new Exynos 2600 chipset is being built on the Samsung’s 2Nm SF2 process and is expected to promote 12 percent performance compared to the 3Nm SF3 process used in the previous chipset, 25 percent better power efficiency and 5 percent small footprints.
Reports also suggest that pre-production yield for Exynos 2600 is more than 30 percent, and is expected to start massive production in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Camera upgrade
The 2026 Samsung Galaxy S26 series is also said to get advanced cameras. A leak from digital trends suggests that the S26 Ultra may have a new 324-megapixel main camera, which is a significant upgrade from the 200-megapixel sensor in the S25 Ultra. This new sensor will allow users to take more detailed photos with better crop capabilities without losing image quality.
Additionally, S26 Ultra is also rumored to include a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, which will increase its zoom capabilities.
Advanced battery
Under the hood, the Galaxy S26 chain is also rumored for the convenience of a high-capacity silicon-carbon battery, which can offer better energy density and long battery life.
Rebrand the Galaxy S26 Note to Ultra?
While many rumors suggest large upgrade, some claim that Samsung resumed S26 Ultra as a Galaxy S26 note in an attempt to revive the note series. The S26 note may maintain a built-in pen, although Bluetooth connectivity may remain absent for stylus.

After Samsung’s general release schedule, the Galaxy S26 series is expected to be launched in January 2026. While these rumors are exciting, it is important to note that nothing is official than Samsung, and many rumors can change during glasses development process.
