We have some eyebrows-raising smartphone designs this year-and we will have something next year. Did you see yesterday’s leak in which the Galaxy S26 series was shown? The S26 Edge stood out with a particularly chunky camera island.
CAD-based render has now hit the web, has been created by OnlixThey confirm the overall design and give the exact dimension: 158.4 x 75.7 x 5.5 mm. It is 0.3 mm thinner than the current S25 edge, although it is not responsible for the camera island.

Said that the camera island brings total thickness to 10.8 mm. This is too much. Especially given that it extends almost the entire width of the phone. Why did Samsung go with such an audball design? We expect to find out through future leaks.
Anyway, back on this leak-it confirms that Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge will have the underlying magnets for full QI2 support. Of course, the camera island can make things hard when it comes to design magnetic snap-on accessories-check the dummy leakage from the black, where the magnet’s circle is in relation to the camera island for a look.

The display will have 6.7 “diagonals as before, more information about the panel is to be confirmed. Based on this and the same dimension of the S25 Edge, 2026 models must have the same bezels around the screen.
On the plus side, Samsung has allegedly found a way to increase the capacity of battery on the current edge, going from 3,900mAh to 4,200mAh. This is not as much as we can expect whether it was SI/C battery, but can explain why the Galaxy S26 age has the size that it does.

Earlier, we looked at Edge Run Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 (or whatever are called), which is officially due to being declared soon. Unfortunately, it was a US variant, so we do not know if other areas will get a separate chipset (we are thinking about Exinos 2600, of course). Other changes may include an ultra-wide camera of 50MP-despite a collision of XL, a third camera will not be added.
