Android manufacturers promised long -term software support, the question whether the most recent but more expensive flagship phone is to be obtained, ever so complicated. If you have a difficult time between Samsung Galaxy S25 and Samsung Galaxy S24, we are here to help.

Rather, despite the upgrade upgrade that brings the Galaxy S25 on the Galaxy S24, it is asking for € 200 more than its predecessor. From 2024 and 2025, we make a deep dive into these two top-end compact flagships, to see if the price difference is appropriate or you will be better with last year’s S24.

When it comes to dimensions and quality is produced, both devices are very similar. The only difference is that the new galaxy is now 0.4 mm thin. It may not take much, but it is worth noting in the hand.

The thinner profile makes the S25 feel a little shorter, but it is definitely nothing that should be based on your decision.

There is absolutely no change in the demonstration department. Galaxy S25 and S24 share similar OLED panels with similar features and maximum brightness, so there is nothing to break here.

battery life

Even though there is no change in the capacity of the battery, the new Galaxy S25 shows a small improvement in the overall active use score, mainly due to high talk and game runtimes. Web browsing and video playback scores are near.

At the end of the day, if you choose to go to the S25, you will find a short battery for a more power-efficient chipset than by endurance.

Since there has been no change in charging capabilities, we were not expecting a different result in our charging test. The differences you see are modest and are within the margin of error for such testing. Either way, 25W wired charging rate fills the full charge of the battery. 1 hour and 15 minutesRegardless of the device.

Speaker test

Samsung did not highlight any upgrade in loudspeakers, but we found that they were better tuned to the Galaxy S25 compared to the S24. The bass is slightly more prominent, the music gives a very important perfection to the track as small handsets struggle to give vigorous and full sound.

However, according to our tests, the speakers of S24 are a bit loud, but we suspect that you can also present the difference, even if you hear them together.

Display

Unlike last year, this year’s Galaxy S25 comes with the latest and largest of Qualcomm for all regions. Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy is present on all Galaxy S25 members, while the Galaxy S24 has Snapdragon 8 gene or exinos 2400.

Either in the case, the Galaxy S25 considers quite high raw performance.

There is no change in the memory variant, except that the Galaxy S25 runs 12GB RAM regardless of the storage version. The storage type used by both phones is the same, and we recommend going to at least 256GB as it uses UFS 4.0 storage rapidly.

When you beat the Galaxy S25 vs Exynos 2400 Galaxy S24, a landslide wins pre -wins in every aspect by a landslide. In joint scenarios such as antuu, the S25 excludes S24 from about 30%, while in the CPU-heavy benchmark, the SD 8 aristocratic for the Galaxy draws up to about 50%than the exynos 2400. The difference in GPU widens

Camera comparison

The Galaxy S25 and S24 have the same camera hardware – 50MP main camera included by 10MP telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom and 12MP Ultravide without autofocus. The front has a 12MP selfie cam with autofocus.

This means that there is a possibility of differences due to tuning or ISP, as two devices have separate chipsets.

image quality

Even though the camera samples taken by us are taken on different days, it is clear that the two phones paint almost equally with comparable quality. At least during the day, that is.

The 2x zoom mode creates a small exception, as the new Galaxy S25 has a little noise and slightly more beneficial with a detailed photo.

Night photos are also very close in terms of quality, but the S25 is tuned slightly differently. It goes to go to the warm color temperature and a dark shade, giving the view more natural look.

video quality

Below we have some framegrabs from videos taken by two phones at each focal length, so it is easy to compare each other.

The same goes to the quality of the video. It is difficult to present any meaningful difference, but strangely enough, if we are working hard to take a winner here, we will go to the Galaxy S24. Its videos better handle highlight and light sources and are usually sharp.

Decision

With the promise of Samsung long software support, purchasing an old Galaxy flagship becomes very intelligent, especially with a few generations rather than a few generations but a minor hardware upgrade. Let’s be honest here, the only reason for going to the more expensive Galaxy S25 is the chipset. It is much more powerful than before and small battery seems to be mainly efficient in some aspects, given the benefit of small battery life. You also get a slightly better tuned loudspeaker and 0.4 mm thin profiles, but they are unlikely to tip the scales.

On the other hand, you have a cheap Galaxy S24 that experiences about 99% of the user S25 offers, and it is obliged to receive the major software upgrade for the coming years. Among all, it seems that you would be better than saving a few rupees and grabbing one of those S24, while they are still available.
