It is no surprise that the Galaxy S25 Edge has a thin and light phone between the two. It is a fairly small tool – narrow, small and very thin and light. Eventually, the main sales point of the edge is the absurd thin profile of 5.8 mm and 163-gram weight, which matches the smallest Galaxy S25 in the family. And it provides a screen diagonal similar to the S25 ultra – just 0.2 “difference.
The edge does not fall behind the ultra when it comes to manufacture quality. The handset has a titanium frame and gorilla glass back and front panels. The Galaxy S25 Ultra should be faster to charge on paper than the S25 edge. Eventually, the fast-beaching rate of S25 Ultra is 45W, while the Edge resides for 25W. But the comparison in charging speed is not as straight as the number will suggest.
The S25 Ultra 15- and is capable of recurring more juice on a 30-minute mark, but when it comes to full charge, it holds the edge with charging speed. Samsung has been very conservative with its charging speed and its Galaxy S phones usually take the same time to fully charge.

Speaker test
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is a clear winner here, which offers loudly and good-ridden speakers. Perhaps due to size reduction, the speakers of the S25 edge are cool and flat. While the tuning looks the same, the ultra provides full and warm sound with more pronounced bass.

As you can see, the Galaxy S25 Ultra has little advantage in all three tests, but it is somewhat negligible.
The difference can probably be explained by poor S25 Edge Thermal. The continuous performance of the S25 Edge is on sub, and CPU starts throtting within minutes. It is not that S25 Ultra is great in this regard, but it is doing a little better. So if you plan on gaming, S25 Ultra may be better picking up.
Camera comparison
Galaxy S25 Edge and S25 Ultra similar camera share hardware, but due to size deficiency, the edge has only two cameras instead of four. Missing people are dedicated 3x and 5x cameras found on Ultra. In addition, the ultra has a large 50mp ultravide sensor, opposite to the 12MP found in the edge.
The good news is that the Edge 200MP main camera, the centerpiece camera on Ultra also retains. Selfie units are the same.
image quality
We are surprised by how well the S25 Edge is to S25 Ultra in most of the scenarios. For example, we could not find any meaningful difference between ultravide photos. Both phones perform at the same level in this regard and also do very similar processing.

Another big surprise is 3x zoom photos. Even though the edge does not have a dedicated telephoto unit, the 3x crop zoom from the main sensor is quite good and almost completely matches the 3x zoom shooter of S25 Ultra. However, this cannot be said about 5x zoom mode. This seems to be the only benefit of S25 Ultra.

Video recording capabilities of both handsets are quite comparable. There is no meaningful difference between ultravide and main cameras, but as required, the S25 Ultra distributes a little cleaner 3x zoom video. Not much, but it is still something. 5x videos on Ultra are much better, though.

Decision
It is clear that if you are looking for a smooth, light and portable design, then Galaxy S25 Edge is a better option for both. In most markets, the edge is also cheaper and does not fall behind in the camera department compared to ultra.
However, the Galaxy S25 Ultra improves the edge in almost every aspect, and Europeans are obtained to make it cheaper from the edge, so it is a no-grain. It has a slightly better performance, fast charging, good speakers, long battery life and S pen support.
