The report also shows details about the color options of the phone and the initial production numbers, causing enthusiasm among the Samsung enthusiasts. However, it notes that Samsung intends to evaluate the initial rollouts in selected areas before expanding availability in additional markets, with only 40,000 units for initial production. Additionally, the report claims that Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will be available in light blue, black and silver color options.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge to launch in April: what is expected

Showing in MWC 2025, the design and construction of the Galaxy S25 age is officially displayed. Some rumors suggest that the device can be thinner than before, measuring only 5.84 mm thick and weight under 162 grams. If it is accurate, it will make Samsung’s thinnest and lightest smartphone over the years.

The Galaxy S25 edge is expected to have aluminum frame features, while the back panel may be made of ceramic instead of glass or plastic. While ceramic provides maximum scratch resistance, it is more brittle and heavy. Some reports indicate that Samsung may opt for a hybrid content, possibly to maintain a balance between glass, durability and weight infected with ceramic speech.

The front design is considered the same as the Galaxy S25+, with a similar screen size, but the major difference lies in the rear camera setup. Unlike the Galaxy S25+, which has three cameras, the Galaxy S25 Edge would be allegedly only two.

Internal, the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be operated by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset, as recently confirmed by a Geekbench listing. The device allegedly achieved 2,806 in single-core and 8,416 in multi-core performance tests. It is also set to include 12 GB RAM and also to include Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7.

However, a possible concern is its relatively small 3,900mAh battery, which can struggle to support powerful chipsets and ultra-slim design. Additionally, a limited internal location can lead to thermal throttleing, which can potentially affect continuous performance during heavy use.
