Samsung has launched its latest mid-range smartphone, Galaxy F56 5G in India. The new device still stands as the most sleevest in the Galaxy F series, which is just 7.2 mm thick. The phone also brings a bunch of segment-first features such as flagship-level 50-megapixel triple-rear camera setup, Gorilla Glass Victus+ Security, both with six-year software support-makes a concrete option for users that make a solid option for users who are looking for a solid smartphone yet for less than Rs 30,000.

Samsung Galaxy F56 is available in two variants – 128GB storage with 8GB RAM is priced at Rs 25,999, and 8GB RAM is priced at Rs 28,999 with 256GB storage. These prices include immediate bank exemption of Rs 2,000. This phone will be available today to select Flipkart, Samsung’s official website and retail shops. Easy EMI options begin at Rs 1,556 per month through Samsung Finance+ and other major NBFC partners. Customers can choose between two color options – green and violet.

The Samsung Galaxy F56 has a 6.7-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and has a 1200 NITs shine in high gloss mode. It also receives vision booster technique for better visibility in sunlight. The phone has a glass back and a metal camera frame, which gives it a premium look and feel. On the stability front, it is preserved on both forward and back by Gorilla Glass Victus+.
For performance, the Galaxy F56 is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1480 processor which is paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM. It supports 5G connectivity and includes a vapor cooling chamber for better gaming and overall performance. The 5,000mAh battery supports 45W fast charging.
In terms of photography, the Galaxy F56 comes with a 50-megapixel triple-rear camera setup with OIS. There is also a 12-megapixel front camera for selfie. Samsung says its large pixel tech and AI-operated imaging tools improve low-light photography and video quality. Knightography, 2x zoom in portrait mode, and 10-bit HDR contain features such as 4K video recording. Users will also get access to AI Editing Tools such as object eraser and edit suggestions.
On the software front, the Galaxy F56 runs a UI7 based on Android 15 and promises six years of software and security updates – the first in this price range. It also comes with features such as Samsung Knox Vault and Samsung Wallet’s tap and pay features, which is for easy contactless payments for promoted safety. A new feature called Now Bar allows users to examine the real -time update such as direct workout progress or media playback on the lock screen.
