Samsung has released its latest entry-level smartphone, Galaxy F06 5G, which is at an initial price of Rs 9,999. The smartphone comes with a 90Hz refresh rate and polycarbonate build with a 6.7 -inch display. The new device runs at the footsteps of its predecessor, Galaxy F05, which was launched in September 2024. Now, after five months, the company has unveiled the upgraded version to give consumers a better option under Rs 10,000. Powered by MediaTek Dimensation 6300+ chipset, the Galaxy F06 runs on Samsung’s Oneui software.

Samsung Galaxy F06 5G: Price and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy F06 is an entry-level smartphone priced at Rs 9,999 for the Vanilla model. The device has been selected for Flipkart, Samsung’s official website and retail partners. The sale will be live on 20 February. The Galaxy F06 has been released in two variants: Vanilla models have 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, and the second variant comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage (priced at Rs 10,999). The phone comes in two colors: Bahama Blue and Lit Violet.

Samsung is also offering Rs 500 as immediate bank cashback, taking the effective price to Rs 9,499.

Samsung Galaxy F06 5G: key glasses and features

Unlike the Samsung Galaxy F05, a polycarbonate is back with an impure leather finish, the new Samsung Galaxy F06 comes with a bright rear panel. The smartphone has a dual-camera setup. But, unlike the Galaxy F05, which has two separate camera ring, the Galaxy F06 has both its lenses in the black-out vertical camera island. Speaking about, the phone has a 50-megapixel primary camera with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfie, there is an 8-megapixel camera in front, located in a dew-drop notch. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for certification, clear calls for 12 5G bands and Samsung’s ownership voice focus focus for support.

On the front, the Samsung Galaxy F06 splits a large 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate and 800 NITs in high brightly mode. Coming into the processor, the Galaxy F06 is powered by a MediaTek demonsal 6300 SoC, the same chip that also gives strength to the Galaxy A06 5G. It is combined with a relatively large 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast wired charging. While its predecessor was operated on the Core 6.0, the new model would start with Android 15 with the latest Oneui 7.0 of Samsung. Samsung is also promising 4 years of security patch along with 4 -year -old OS update.
