Samsung announced its latest Galaxy A26 smartphones earlier this month with Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56. However, the company did not confirm the price of the A26 smartphone and for some reason, Samsung revealed the availability details a few weeks after the launch. Nevertheless, with the new Galaxy a series phone, Samsung is bringing AI features to its users who buy a device for Rs 25,000. It comes with an IP67 water-resistant rating, a huge performance, a large battery, a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup and more. Samsung Galaxy A26 India prices, launch offer confirmed

The Samsung Galaxy A26 8GB RAM + 128GB comes with an initial price of Rs 24,999 for storage model. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model is priced at Rs 27,999 in India. As part of the launch offer, the consumers will be able to claim a discount of Rs 2,000 on HDFC and SBI Credit Card, which will effectively reduce the price for the base model by Rs 22,999.

Samsung Galaxy A26 launched: glasses, features

The Galaxy A26 5G has a 6.7 -inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is preserved by the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ Coating. Exynos 1380 operated by octa-core processor, with four quad A78 core (seen on 2.4GHz) and four quad A55 CPU core (2.0GHz). Users get 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage options, and storage can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.

The device supports hybrid dual sim functionality, allowing users to choose between another SIM card or microSD card. Samsung’s One is running on Android 15 with UI 7, the phone will get six OS updates and security patch for six years.

In terms of photography, the Galaxy A26 is equipped with a versatile triple rear camera setup. This includes F/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS), F/2.2 aperture with 8MP ultra-wide lens and f/2.4 aperture with a 50MP primary sensor with 2MP macro sensors, an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, there is a 13MP selfie camera with a f/2.2 aperture, which ensures high quality video calls and selfies.

The phone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It also provides IP67 certification, which is the first time for the Galaxy A series. Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS + GLONASS, NFC and a USB Type-C port. The device packs 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
