A few days ago, the renders depicted by Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A17 were leaked, and earlier today we saw it in both 5G and 4G repetitions, listed by a European retailer, with pricing.
Now, even more details about the A17 are out with a ton of new official-dying render and promo content. According to these, the A17 5G will be operated by Samsung’s Exynos 1330 SOC, not 1380 as the first rumor.

The phone will come with 128GB storage and 4/6/8GB RAM, and 8GB RAM with a 256GB option. MicroSD card will be supported up to 2TB. The handset measures 164.4 x 77.9 x 7.5 mm and weighs 192 grams.
In this, 6.7-inch 1080×2340 Super AMOLED screen, 90 Hz Refresh Rate, 1,100-NIT Peak Brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus Top, A Triple Rear Camera System (OIS, OIS, 5 MP Ultravide, 5 MP Ultravide, 2 mkro, Baternest (Sled, 2 MP macro), and a 5,000 man batter (minute) will be blue, black and gray.
This IP54 is certified for dust and splash resistance, and comes with a promise of 6 major Android updates and 6 -year security patch. However, keep in mind that it will launch on board with Android 15, so the first of those six updates will be Android 16. The back is designed from glass fiber reinforced polymers, which is advertised as stronger than “glalist” at A16 5G.
The box will have a 25W charger, a USB Type-C cable, a SIM ejection tool and a quick start guide. Note that the presence of charger in the box may vary depending on the market.
Compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy A17 is 5G thinner and lighter, has a separate chipset, and the main camera has OIS added. The design for the camera island is also changed, which is now an oval thing and there are no three separate rounds. It is about it, and it is definitely not the greatest upgradation.
