Samsung has released its latest entry-level smartphone, Galaxy A06 5G, which is at an initial price of Rs 10,499. The smartphone comes with a 6.7-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and polycarbonate build. The new device runs at the footsteps of its predecessor, Galaxy A06 (4G version), which was launched in September 2024. Now, five months later, the company unveiled the advanced version to provide consumers a better option. Powered by MediaTek dimensions 6300 chipset, the Galaxy A06 5G runs on Samsung’s Oneui software.

Samsung Galaxy A06 5G: Price and Availability

Samsung Galaxy A06 is an entry-level smartphone priced at Rs 10,499 for 5G base model. The device has been launched through Samsung’s official website and online and offline retail partners. The Galaxy A06 5G is available in three variants: The base model includes 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Middle-variant, with the same RAM but with 128GB storage, spends Rs 11,499. Finally, the top-end variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 12,999. The phone comes in three colors: black, gray and light green.

Samsung is offering a one -year screen replacement on the purchase of Galaxy A06 5G for Rs 129 through Samsung Care+, which is usually priced at Rs 699.

Samsung Galaxy A06 5G: key glasses and features

In terms of physical appearance, the Galaxy A06 5G looks striking similar to its 4G version. However, the 5G variant provides new shades. The smartphone has a dual-camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary camera with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfie, there is an 8-megapixel front camera located in a dew-drop notch. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication, Samsung’s ownership voice focus for clear calls and support for 12 5G bands.

On the front, Samsung Galaxy A06 5G sports HD+ resolution with a large 6.7-inch IPS LCD display, 90Hz refresh rates and 800 NITs in brightness of high-brightness mode. Under the hood, the Galaxy A06 5G is powered by the MediaTek Demission 6300 SoC, the same chip that also strengthens the recently launched Galaxy F06 5G. It is combined with a relatively large 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast wired charging. This phone runs on Samsung’s latest Vanui 7.0 based on Android 15. The company is also promising four -year -old OS update with a four -year security patch.
