Samantha Ruth Prabhu opens up about personal battle, says ‘wouldn’t change anything’
In a recent interview with Elle India, the pan-India star spoke about her marital breakup with actor Naga Chaitanya and her health struggle with myositis. Referring to her personal struggles, Samantha said that she had to ‘go through fire’ to reach where she is today.
Furthermore, the Shaakuntalam actor said that she wouldn’t change anything about her life experiences as they have made her ‘stronger’. The actor also revealed that she finds solace in spirituality to deal with personal crises in the last three years.
Speaking to Elle India, Samantha said, “I was discussing this with my friend sometime back, and I always thought I didn’t want the last three years to be like this, but now I feel you have to face whatever life throws at you. And by the time you get out of it, you have won. I feel stronger and more grounded than ever. It’s because I have gone through fire to get here. Call it a spiritual awakening.”
Samantha has completed 14 years in the industry, talking about what keeps the fire alive in her, she said that till date, she feels like a newcomer. Samantha, or Sam as her fans fondly call her, has a constant desire to learn something new to entertain the audience.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu was last seen in Kushi opposite Vijay Deverakonda. The film failed at the box office despite high expectations. Now, the beautiful actress is all set to share the screen with Bollywood heartthrob Varun Dhawan in his much-awaited web series Citadel: Honey Bunny.
It is an Indian adaptation of the Russo brothers’ film ‘Citadel’, which starred global icons Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden, while Samantha and Varun Dhawan will play Honey and Bunny in the Indian version.
Apart from the lead roles, Citadel: Honey Bunny will also feature Emma Canning, Sikander Kher and Saqib Saleem in pivotal roles. The Indian spy action thriller series created by Raj and DK will premiere on Amazon Prime Video this year.
Apart from this, Samantha will be seen debuting as a producer with a special project titled Bangaram. Apart from being the lead actress, she will also finance the project. Samantha announced the project on her 37th birthday this year.
