Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu married Family Man fame filmmaker Raj Nidimoru in a private ceremony at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore on December 1.

The actor shared the first photos from the ceremony on Instagram, captioned simply with the date, confirming the news after a night of speculation. Samantha’s wedding post brought an outpouring of love from colleagues and fans.

The wedding took place at the Linga Bhairavi temple inside the centre, with around 30 close friends and family members attending. The newlyweds were seen in traditional attire, with Samantha wearing a red saree with gold and diamond jewellery, and Raj wearing a white kurta, pajama and cream bandhgala.

The two performed Bhoot Shuddhi Vivaah, a spiritual ritual at the Linga Bhairavi abode that purifies the five elements within the couple and invokes the goddess’s grace for harmony, prosperity and inner balance.

Samantha and Raj Nidimoru have reportedly been together for almost two years. Over the past year, he frequently shared photos with her, sparking speculation. The two worked together in The Family Man 2, Citadel: Honey Bunny and the upcoming Blood universe. Raj was also the creative producer of Subham, Samantha’s debut film as a producer.
