The whole world monitors Apple’s iPhones, especially the technical community. Thus, it is no surprise that Openai CEO Sam Altman joined the campaign after 9 September ‘Awesome Dropping’ event. It seemed that the iPhone Air AI was winning the genius.

On X (East Twitter), the co-founder of OpenAII expressed his views on the next generation iPhone. He wrote, “The first new iPhone upgrade I really wanted a while! Looks great.”

While Altman did not mention the exact upgrade in his post, he responded to a comment asking if he was talking about the iPhone Air. He agreed that the 5.6 mm-thunder iPhone had won him.

In addition, another Sam Altman follower urged him to get Apple to change Siri with chat. Surprisingly, OpenAII CEO was open to the idea. He replied, “This TBH sounds like a great idea, I am a accessory.”

Why did iPhone Air win Sam Altman?

The iPhone Air is a standout model this year. The device weighs only 165 grams with a thickness of 5.6 mm. Sleek design is very different from Apple’s recent iPhones.

The design is likely to affect the co-founder of OpenEAI. Over the years, the iPhone was not actually reduced to thickness before air.

Despite being 5.6 mm thick only, the iPhone Air comes with a ton features. The handset gets a promotion display and A19 Pro from the iPhone 17 Pro. However, the air processor has a low GPU core.

Apple has worked hard to provide decent battery life with iPhone air. The company claims that the device can provide ‘All-Day Battery Life’. Battery is also a case of a magasaf battery designed specifically to improve life.

The iPhone Air gets an 18-megapixel front camera with a center stage to allow better group selfies.

However, the device has some drawbacks. To ensure a smooth design, Apple has provided a single 48-megapixel fusion rear camera with only a single speaker. The iPhone Air will be sent globally with ESIM-ONLY SUPP, with no physical SIM card slot.

The wind of the iPhone starts at Rs 1,19,900 in India and $ 999 in the US.

Should chat replace Siri on iPhones?

Whenever it comes to artificial intelligence, Apple still lags behind other technical veterans. Apple Intelligence was announced last year, but it still has to fulfill some of its biggest promises. That’s all, Siri must rely on chatgip like LLM for deep research questions.

Cupertino giants also did not pay much attention to Apple Intellation during the iPhone 17 series launch, indicating that there are many major upgrades or improvements.

However Apple is well aware of its AI shortcomings. According to reports, the company is already interacting with Google to create a new language model for Siri. These dialogues are considered in early stages.

Apple is also allegedly open to develop a better in-house AI model. In such a scenario, the chatgpt apple of Openai may emerge as an ideal choice for intelligence. However, the company has not publicly given serious interest in such partnership.
