Salman Khan’s battle of galwan now titled Motherland: Let there be peace in war. This was announced by the makers in a social media post on Monday morning. The film is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash and is directed by Apoorva Lakhia.

Along with the announcement, a new poster of the film was released, which shows Khan in an intense look – with a scar on his forehead and bloodied hands holding a wooden weapon.

The film is inspired by the events of Galwan Valley, which saw a deadly clash between Indian and Chinese troops in 2020. However, the producers are keen to present the story in a broader context rather than limit it to a historical retelling.

According to people associated with the project, the title Motherland: Let there be peace in war It reflects an attempt to explore the emotional and philosophical dimensions of war, while also emphasizing the value of peace.
