Bollywood actor Salman Khan shot a promo for ‘Bigg Boss 18’ at Film City in Mumbai on Thursday, September 5. Dressed in a black suit, he shot on the sets of the popular reality show. ‘Bigg Boss 18’ is set to premiere in the first week of October, with the casting process currently underway. Exclusive sources reveal that the theme of this season will focus on different stages of one’s life.

The source told IndiaToday.in, “The theme of Bigg Boss 18 will revolve around past, present and future. Salman had a lot of fun while shooting with the team. In the promo, which is expected to go live by the end of the month, fans will see him talking about these timelines. This will also be explained through changes in the design and format of the house.”

Given the theme, there was speculation whether former contestants might return to the show. However, sources have denied this, saying that casting is still underway. Last season, ‘Bigg Boss’ followed the ‘Dil, Dimag aur Dum’ format, which involved dividing contestants into specific groups.

There were rumours of Salman Khan returning to the show after Anil Kapoor replaced him in ‘Bigg Boss OTT 3’. However, after the recent promo shoot, fans can rest assured that Salman Khan will be back as the host.

This season, TV actors Zaan Khan, Anjali Anand, Chahat Pandey, Splitsvilla fame Kashish Kapoor, Digvijay Rathi and ‘Stree 2’ fame Sunil Kumar are rumoured to enter the show.
