After the Indian men’s cricket team won the final match of the T20 World Cup 2024 against South Africa, social media was flooded with congratulatory messages. Salman Khan also joined the crowd in praising the winning team.
The Tiger 3 actor shared a poster of ‘World Cup Champions’ on social media, in which he is seen lifting the silver trophy. He wrote in his tweet, “Congratulations Team India! #T20WorldCup #TeamIndia.”

Unlike all other matches, Anushka Sharma was not seen cheering the team in the stands. However, the actress did not hold back in praising her husband Virat Kohli, who played the role of the catalyst in bringing the trophy home.
She posted a picture of Virat with the cup on Instagram and wrote, “And… I love this man @virat.kohli. So grateful to call you home – now grab me a glass of sparkling water to celebrate!”
