Veteran actor Saurabh Shukla recently recalled how he was asked to act in a certain way by a assistant on the set of kick once. He shared that an assistant went to him and asked him to act ‘scared’, as it was Salman Khan who was in front of him. However, Khan intervened and asked the assistant not to interfere in Shukla’s acting method.

In an interview with digital commentary, Saurabh recalled an episode during the shoot of Sajid Nadidwala’s kick, Where he played the role of an Indian ambassador, father of Jacqueline Fernandez. The film also starred Salman Khan and Randeep Hooda in the lead roles.

During a special scene, Saurabh’s character meets Devi Lal Singh, who committed suicide of his daughter, depicted by Salman. The scene needed Salman to ask Saurabh about his salary and savings, inspiring Saurabh to react with surprise and shock. According to Saurabh, an assistant suggested that he should be afraid of Salman’s character. Saurabh disagreed, arguing that such a reaction was irrational. The assistant warned that Salman could not appreciate his response.

“After shooting the scene, one of Salman’s assistants came to me, and said I would have to change my response to that scene. The assistant felt that I should be afraid of Salman’s Goddess Lal Singh. While I tried to argue that such a response has no meaning, his assistant said that Salman does not like this response, ”Saurabh Shukla shared.

The actor revealed that Salman intervened, directed his assistant not to interfere in Saurabh’s performance. Salman praised Saurabh’s acting, stating that it was perfect for the scene. “Salman called his assistant, and asked him not to bother me. They told him that I was at the acting point, and this was the right response to the scene, ”he shared. Saurabh used the incident to highlight how entry often decides on behalf of stars, causing misunderstandings.
