Dilip Kumar breathed his last on 7th July 2021. Today is the third death anniversary of the late actor. Veteran actress Saira Banu shared several pictures with her husband on her Instagram account and penned a heart-touching note.
In the first frame we can see the letter written by Saira Banu to the love of her life. In the letter, she wrote, “Dear Yusuf Jaan, no matter what happens, we will always walk together hand in hand, our thoughts and existence will always be the same. My days stretch like eternity and every moment reminds me of our togetherness.”
She further wrote in the letter, “Often, I think of the love and life we shared because it still keeps us whole, because love, my dear ‘Sahib’, consumes all the remains of a person, I am grateful to Allah that I have been fortunate enough to be yours in this life, and by His mercy. Insha Allah, I will always be yours and only yours. Love, Saira Banu Khan.”
In the caption, Saira Banu further revealed that Dilip Kumar had a serious problem of insomnia. She wrote, “Before our marriage, even after taking pills, he used to stay awake till morning. However, after we got married and became indispensable to each other, he started sleeping on time.”
Saira Banu concluded her caption by calling him a fun-loving person who always called her ‘aunty’. “Yet, beneath the banter, laughter and those heartfelt notes, there was pure love hidden. Dilip sahab is forever… May Allah keep him in his love and blessings… Amen!” she added.
