Sai Pallavi, who received the Kalaimamani Award from the Government of Tamil Nadu for the year 2021, has shared new photos from the ceremony, offering fans a closer look at the moment she describes as “surreal”. The award was presented to him by Chief Minister MK Stalin in October, recognizing his contribution to cinema and marking an important milestone in his career.

A month after the incident, Sai Pallavi posted a note along with photographs, highlighting the importance of the recognition. He wrote, “Kalaimamani is a word I have heard growing up, and to be honored with this honor is surreal. Thank you to the Government of Tamil Nadu, Honorable Chief Minister Thiru MK Stalin Avargal and TN Iyal Isai Nadaga Mandram for this great honour.”

She also explained that she delayed sharing the post because she wanted to take a photo with her grandparents, adding, “This precious post was delayed by a month so I could take a photo with my loved ones.”

Sai Pallavi was one of the many names from the film industry to receive the Kalaimamani for 2021. Other recipients included SJ Suryah, director Lingusamy and stunt coordinator Super Subbarayan. The list also includes contributors such as Vikram Prabhu, lyricist Vivek and composer Anirudh, highlighting a diverse group of artists recognized for their work in Tamil art and cinema.

Since making her debut in the Malayalam film ‘Premam’ in 2015, Sai Pallavi has made a strong presence in South Indian cinema. She debuted in Tamil with ‘Diya’ in 2018, followed by a widely celebrated performance in ‘Maari 2’, where the song ‘Rowdy Baby’ brought her nationwide recognition. His role in ‘Gargi’ earned critical praise for its depth and sensitivity. She was recently seen in ‘Amaran’ opposite Sivakarthikeyan and later appeared in the Telugu film ‘Thandel’ opposite Naga Chaitanya.

Sai Pallavi is now awaiting the release of her debut Hindi film ‘Mere Raho’, co-starring Junaid Khan. She is also working on Nitesh Tiwari’s two-part project ‘Ramayana’, where she will play the role of Sita opposite Ranbir Kapoor’s Ram and Yash’s Ravana – one of the most awaited roles of her career.
