Thalapathy Vijay’s Sachein has completed 20 years of release. To mark the occasion, the romantic comedy is returning to the larger screen later this week. Directed by John Mahendran and produced by Kalipuli S Thanu, a very liked film also stars Genelia and Bipasha Basu, as the woman is contrary to the Tamil superstar.
Seshin records a good pre-selling of Rs 12 crore for re-release in Tamil Nadu
Bancharols by V Creations, the Secheen recorded a good advance booking at the Tamil box office. The film sold more than 9000 tickets in about 75 shows across the state, acquiring 40 percent. The film is about 12 lakh rupees from advances so far.
This is a good start for a 20 -year -old film to say at least. For two days, still in hand, the film has enough time to register Banger Advance Booking. It will be interesting to see if the film records more than Rs 50 lakh advances before the first show starts.
Sachein to impress good bad ugly box office collection
Although Bestin has nothing to lose, it is definitely likely to affect Ajit Kumar’s good bad ugly box office capacity. Mass Action Drama has overtaken Vishwasam’s lifetime collection and is now emerging as the highest grossing film of Ajit Kumar’s career. However, if the Thalapathi Vijay starrer picks up well, it may be difficult for the latter to achieve their goal at the box office.
Seeing the track records of Ghilli of Thalapathy Vijay, Sachin can be a major concern for the manufacturers of Good Bad Ugly later this week.
