Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Gaurav Gupta were some of the Indian designers who made their presence felt at the 2024 Emmy Awards. Actress Laura Dern, who stars in and executive produces the Apple TV+ period television series “Palm Royale,” wore statement jewelry to Sunday’s ceremony at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles.

In an Instagram post, label Sabyasachi shared pictures of Dern wearing its jewellery on the Emmys red carpet. “Laura Dern wears earrings, bangle and a statement Palm Avenue necklace from Sabyasachi Jewellery to the 76th Emmy Awards,” the brand said. Dern wore a statement Palm Avenue necklace from Sabyasachi High Jewellery crafted in 18k gold with 5.59 carats of green tourmaline, 33.07 carats of tourmaline and 27.02 carats of emerald along with multicolour gemstones, brilliant cut and old mine cut diamonds. A statement from the brand said, “The back is intricately studded with EF VVS VS diamonds. Paired with earrings crafted from morganite and brilliant cut EF VVS VS diamonds. She also wore a mangrove bracelet, crafted in 18k gold with multicoloured and organic gemstones and diamonds.” EF VVS VS refers to the standards for ascertaining the colour and clarity of diamonds.
Netflix’s Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria was spotted at the event wearing a Matka lehenga from the Sabyasachi Heritage Bridal Collection.

Actress-producer Mindy Kaling, known for "The Office", "The Mindy Project" and "Never Have I Ever", chose Gupta, her favourite designer, for the 76th edition of the Emmy Awards. Kaling wore a black Gaurav Gupta gown with off-the-shoulder detail. She shared several pictures of the gown on Instagram and called it a "dream dress by @gauravguptaofficial".
