Media magnate Rupert Murdoch has married for the fifth time at the age of 93, to a retired molecular biologist a quarter of a century younger than him.
Rupert Murdoch and Elena Zhukova, 67, married on Saturday at the media mogul’s California vineyard and estate, called Moraga.
Photographs published in the Murdoch-owned British tabloid The Sun show the couple posing and smiling in black suits and yellow ties, and she in an off-the-shoulder white gown as she holds a bouquet of lilies of the valley.
New England Patriots US football team owner Robert Kraft, 82, and his 50-year-old wife Dana Bloomberg were among the jet-setting guests at the wedding.
Rupert Murdoch was previously married four times, most recently to Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger’s longtime partner Jerry Hall.

Last year, Murdoch announced his engagement to dental hygienist-turned-conservative radio host Ann Leslie Smith, but called off the planned wedding less than a month later.
Zhukova, who immigrated to the United States from Russia, is a retired molecular biologist.
Her daughter, Dasha Zhukova, an arts patron and entrepreneur, was previously married to Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich.
Murdoch, who has six children, was first married to Australian flight attendant Patricia Booker, whom he divorced in the late 1960s.
Rupert Murdoch and his second wife, Anna Torv, a newspaper reporter, were together for more than 30 years before divorcing in 1999. His third marriage to Wendy Deng ended in 2013.
Australian-born Murdoch, whose media empire includes The Wall Street Journal, Fox News and other influential outlets, and his family’s network are worth about $20 billion, according to Forbes.
Murdoch last November handed over control of his global media empire to son Lachlan, who moved to emeritus status.
