Rupali Ganguly’s stepdaughter Esha Verma made her Instagram account private after the actor filed a defamation case against her and demanded compensation of Rs 50 crore.
After actress Rupali Ganguly filed a defamation case against her stepdaughter Esha Verma, the 26-year-old made her Instagram account private. Reports also suggest that Esha deleted the video in which she had allegedly defamed Rupali and her father Ashwin K Verma. Rupali has sought compensation of Rs 50 crore from Isha for the alleged defamation.
Hours after Isha posted a video allegedly ‘defaming’ Rupali and Ashwin’s character and personal life, the actor sent a legal notice to his stepdaughter. Following this, Isha’s Instagram account has been made private, and the video in question has reportedly been removed.

In the video shared on November 10, Esha Verma spoke against her father and Rupali, calling them ‘true goons’. Additionally, she accused her father of being unsupportive, failing to protect her during her formative years, and mocking her mental health struggles.

Following the same, on Monday, November 11, Rupali Ganguly’s lawyer Sana Raees Khan sent a notice, mentioning that Ganguly suffered mental trauma due to which she had to seek medical help and was humiliated on the sets and denied professional opportunities. Were lost.
It also said that Ganguly wanted to maintain ‘dignified silence’ but was forced to launch a defamation notice after he and Ashwin Verma’s 11-year-old son were dragged into it.
Ganguly, through his lawyer, has claimed a compensation of Rs 50 crore, which will have to be paid to his step daughter. He has also asked for an immediate unconditional public apology, failing which Ganguly has threatened to take legal action.
Rupali and Ashwin Verma got married in 2013 and are parents to 11-year-old boy Rudransh.
