Actress Rupali Ganguly’s stepdaughter Esha Verma spoke out against her father, Ashwin K Verma, and the actor in an emotional new video posted on social media on Sunday, November 10. Isha termed him a “true scoundrel” and accused her father of being incapable and failing to protect her during her formative years. He also apologized to Rupali Ganguly’s son and expressed his love for him.

After this video, Isha alleged that Rupali Ganguly was responsible for breaking the marriage of her parents. In an Instagram post, Esha addressed her father, describing how he refused to support her and made fun of her mental health struggles.

Isha said, “I may be 26 years old now, but the pain and memories are still there, affecting both my future and present. Amidst all this, I had to stand up against my bullies. It wasn’t just me who was hurt; she didn’t accept me, nor did she ever apologize to me in public. That was my own father’s response to making fun of mental health. He didn’t protect me from the harsh comments I faced, nor did he protect me throughout my life, and that’s really hurtful.”

Addressing Rupali, Isha accused her of “building her character and career with lies and hurting someone else”. Verma said, “The wounds you’ve healed get reopened, especially when you have to see them in the media. I’ve avoided it, but sometimes it grabs your attention. And then it happens again and again— “Bars hurt, especially when you built your character and career on lies and hurting someone else and never once felt guilty about it.”

Isha continued, “So I didn’t expect any reaction, nor did I expect any change, nor did I want anything in return. But taking accountability for my actions and then ignoring it as if something It didn’t happen, there you go. This is your response to the last 24 years of my life.”

She added, “I’m not encouraging anyone to take sides, and I’m not encouraging anyone to use any kind of foul language or negative language in any party. I have no Don’t have a PR team. I don’t have a PR team.” Any. This was just me speaking for myself and my story.”

Isha expressed her admiration for Rupali’s son Rudransh and hoped that Ashwin would prove to be a better father to him. Apologizing to them, she said, “I apologize if anyone was offended in the process. Some of the articles contained misinformation, and I cannot take it back. If it offended anyone else, especially “To my little boy, so I’m really sorry.” Brother, I never meant for anything like this to happen, and I love you enough to want to be a father to you, but the thing is, my experience is different from both of you.”

In the video, Isha also revealed about feeling insecure around Rupali. She told that whenever she tried to trust Rupali, her father would always take the actor’s side instead of supporting his daughter.

He finally said, “I don’t know if he’s seeing this or not, but it’s a letter or a message to my father. I’m sorry it went this far. But you never apologized to me. No.” You always shut me down. I tried to open up to you. I felt like I was growing up. I told her that I wanted to become a filmmaker like her when I grew up, but she was never encouraged.”

Rupali and Ashwin married in 2013 and are parents to a son, Rudransh.
