She shared a post on Instagram asking everyone to stand up and raise their voice against it.
“The stories of persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh have pained me,” Ganguly wrote on Instagram. “My father’s roots are in present-day Bangladesh, so I am horrified to think about the continuous atrocities and violence against minorities. It is time that everyone around the world should stand up and raise their voice for the protection of helpless and vulnerable minorities in Bangladesh,” he added.
He also used the hashtags ‘All Eyes on Bangladesh’ and ‘All Eyes on Bangladeshi Hindus’. The post reads:
