Apple’s event, “It’s Glowtime”, is scheduled to take place on September 9, which will see the launch of its annual hardware including the iPhone 16 series, AirPods 4, and Apple Watch Series 10. It’s true that the iPhone 16 will be the main attraction, but the Apple Watch Series 10 is also expected to have some exciting features. Although nothing has been officially confirmed, rumors suggest that the upcoming watch will get a significant change. However, these rumors differ when it comes to the watch’s upcoming display. Previously, rumors said that the display would be flat, following the Apple Watch Ultra design system. However, it has now reverted to the traditional curved display.

Tipster @MajinBuOfficial on X, who posted about the flat display, also said that he has been told that the Watch Series 10 will have a curved display design. These series of leaks have further added to the confusion in the consumer mind.

First, the tipster posted a leaked photo of the screen protector for the Apple Watch Series 10. This suggests that the device will have a flat display just like the Apple Watch Ultra. But then, the next post states that it will be curved and not flat.

However, the following post insists that the Apple Watch Series 10 will only feature a curved display.

Now with the leaked display specs of the two variants, rumours are spreading that the watch with the flat display will likely be called the Apple Series X. This also suggests that it may have a more bulky or sleeker profile than the current version.

Apple Watch Series 10: What to expect

Along with the display, rumors and leaks have also revealed other specs of the Apple Watch Series 10. These rumors help users create a tentative image of what the upcoming watch will look like.

Tipster @MajinBuOfficial has also posted a list of expected features and specs that will come with the Apple Watch Series 10. It reveals that the upcoming series will have a larger display and come in 42mm and 46mm sizes. This is bigger than the 41mm and 45mm of the current model, but much smaller than the 49mm of the Apple Watch Ultra 2.

Both the bezels and the design are expected to be thin. The leak also suggests that the upcoming Apple Watch Series 10 is expected to have a speaker design, like the Apple Watch Ultra. It states that the wearable will have titanium material instead of stainless steel. With the titanium material, it is possible that the colour options will also increase. It may be available in Gold, Black, Starlight, Original colours.

It is worth noting that these specs and features are only rumours and are yet to be confirmed. Hence, we advise you not to take it completely for granted and only know about it after the Apple event.
