Ronth, Roshan Matthew and Deton Pothan starrer Malayalam-language film, hit a big screen on 13 June 2025. A month after the dramatic release, the film is fully prepared to start streaming.
When and where to see Ronth
Ronth has been designed to release the OTT platform Gehotstar from July 22, 2025. The official confirmation was made by the streaming platform through his X (East Twitter) handle.
Sharing the update, he wrote, “Ready for night-patrol! Ronth will streaming especially on Jiohotstar from July 22.” Originally in Malayalam, the film will be available in dubbed languages including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada.

Ronth (Earth Patrol) is a police procedural drama. The film narrates an entertaining story about two police officers, Yohnan and Dinath, which is engaged in patrolling one night around the city.
Yohanan, an experienced officer and Deenth, being a crook policeman, focuses on how he struggles with his personal demons, moral dilemmas and increasing stress. How they manage to remove long and dark night makes the rest of the story.

Ronth, Roshan Matthew and Dalish Pothan starred in lead roles, Arun Cherukville, Roshan Abdul Rahop, Krishna Kurup, Lakshmi Menon, Carmen S. Matthew, Sajin Sebstian, Kumaradas, Kochusaf Chitlpali, Nandlip, and have connivated artists from many actors.
Apart from this, the film features cameo by Sudhi Koppa and Rajesh Madhavan.
Roth is written and directed by Nayatu fame Shahi Kabir. The film of Ragad by Vineet Jain, Rathish Ambat, Renjith EVMs and Jojo Jose is composed by Anil Johnson, jointly.
With Manesh Madhavan’s cinematography, Flicks is edited by Praveen Mangalath. Ronth is said to have become a hit at the box office with significant praise from critics.
Moving forward, Roshan Matthew is currently filming for the Malayalam Movie, Chhatha Pacha: The Ring of Roads. The film is called WWE-inspired actioner. The actor also has ventures like Ithiri Neram and Chera in his lineup.
On the other hand, Dilesh Pothan will be seen in the lead role for Oru Duruha Sahacharithil next time.
