They are too active in social media, which is not the real world. One thing about social media is that 90% of followers and articles are paid. They “Need to go out.” Buying followers in the world or having paid articles won’t help after two years. Ultimately, you have to prove yourself on the big screen, not the mobile screen.”
He further added, “My biggest advice to the young generation is to never consider any task small or big. You just have to follow your conviction. You don’t have to discuss it with others.” He also urged the current generation of actors to stop being afraid of failure and said, “My films Circus and Dilwale didn’t work, but people still remember me for Golmaal and All the Best. That’s all that matters.”
Citing the example of Salman Khan, Shetty said, “When Salman Khan’s films were not doing well, he did ‘Jeet’ with Sunny Deol. He did it just as an anchor and took it as an opportunity to move ahead in his career. As seen, this quality in stars is now disappearing.”
Filmmakers who are currently enjoying The success of his latest film, Singham Again, also expressed his strong opinion about A group of new age actors.
“Teams that are built around the new generation of stars are the most dangerous thing today. Their opinions, like ‘I don’t think you should do that’ or ‘I don’t think you should go there’, don’t help. Ultimately, after 30 years, people will evaluate you based on your cumulative work. When you work for so long no one remembers a hit or a flop. Do you remember how many flop films Amitabh Bachchan has given in his career? The 50-year-old filmmaker said, we just remember him as brand Amitabh Bachchan because he played all types of roles for 50 years.
