Ranbir Kapoor blew everyone’s mind when he played Jordan in Imtiaz Ali’s film, Rockstar. The 2011 film helped him free from ‘Chocolate Boy’ mold. The film became one of the highest grossing films of that year. While fans and critics appreciated his performance, the story and songs were equally appreciated. The film was predominantly loved by urban audiences who were greatly influenced by the depiction of a heart -breaking singer. Rockstar’s plot
Rockstar is the story of a young boy who wishes to become a huge rock star. When he struggles to do so, he falls in love with a college student who breaks his heart and marries another man. As he undergoes high and climb of his personal and professional life, the man completely turns into ‘Jordan’, the artist he always wanted to be. His heart -wrenching journey on top is not to faint heart.
On popular demand, Rockstar was re -released in select cinemas in India in May 2024. The film managed to entertain the audience for weeks and became one of the highest-grossing re -als of the previous year.
In an interview recently, Imtiaz Ali spoke about the possibility of coming with Rockstar 2. Talking on the game changer YouTube channel, the filmmaker said that it may be that they find a possible story for the sequel of the film that they think would be good.

Released in 2011, The Bollywood film is led by Ranbir Kapoor. Apart from him, Imtiaz Ali’s director also stars Nargis Fakhri, Aditi Rao Hydari, Piyush Mishra, Shernaz Patel, Kumud Mishra, Sanjana Sanghi, Akash Dahiya and Shammi Kapoor. Manufactured by Sunil Lulla and Dhilin Mehta, Rockstar again flew away from again, which also included songs like Main, Katia Karoon, Kun Fa Kun, Sadda Haq and many others, most of which became chartbuster hits.
