Robot Invasion: Humanoids and Smart Machines Dazzle at CES 2026, Here Are Our Top 5 Picks
CES is back, and once again, the tech industry is showcasing its latest innovations at the show. This year, it seems the trend has shifted towards humanoid robots and AI gadgets. From adorable robot pets that die if you ignore them, to humanoids that you can wash your clothes with, we’ve seen it all. And here are our top 5 picks from CES 2026.

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is one of the largest platforms to showcase the latest innovations in the tech industry. Every year, we see new, exciting devices at CES and this year is no different. It looks like the trend at CES 2026 is humanoid robots and AI hardware devices – perhaps laying the foundation for a future where we’ll all have robots in our homes.
But CES 2026 has seen a whole variety of robots – whether they’re cute pets that die if you forget about them or industrial humanoids designed to work in factories. So let’s take a look at our top 5 robot picks for CES 2026 here at India Today Tech.
1. LG CLOiD Robot

LG showed off its new CLOiD home robot at CES this year. The company says the robot uses artificial intelligence and vision-based technology to complete household tasks like cooking or washing clothes. The robot also has a cute look, its arms don’t look out of place, plus there’s a large screen to mimic its face. LG claims CLOiD can interact with you through spoken language or expressions on its screen. Maybe in the future it would be nice to wake up to a robot smiling at you with breakfast ready.
It also has wheels for ease of movement. The robot can also crouch and lean, making it appear even more humanoid. The LG CLOiD is integrated with the LG ThinQ ecosystem, making it a good option for those who already own the company’s devices. Otherwise, you won’t be able to get the most out of it.
2. Switchbot Onero H1

Another home robot we saw at CES 2026 was Switchbot’s Onero H1. Compared to the CLOiD, the Onero H1 gets something more like an actual face than a screen. Switchbot’s robot comes with functional hands, arms, but has a fixed base for easy movement. Like its LG counterpart, it can also perform routine tasks. Switchbot claims that it is designed to eliminate household chores.
Already, the Switchbot Onero H1 can wash your clothes and even make breakfast. It uses omnisense vision-language-action (VLA) to understand and learn from its surroundings and actions.
3. Boston Dynamics Atlas

This year, Korean giant Hyundai used its keynote to showcase Boston Dynamics’ Atlas prototype. Hyundai is the majority owner of an American company. Atlas is the latest version of the company’s humanoid bipedal robot. During its showcase, the Atlas prototype was seen moving in a much more balanced manner than its predecessors.
Atlas has fully functional joints and hands, bringing it closer to our imagination as a full humanoid robot.
The Atlas robot is intended to perform repetitive tasks in factories, and it will begin operating at Hyundai’s plant in Georgia in 2028. The company also announced a partnership with Google DeepMind, with the potential to use Google’s AI models to power its robots in the future.
4. Acceptor Pocket Pet

After looking at some realistic functioning humanoids, let’s take a look at something more adorable. The Accept Pocket Pet was one of the cutest devices showcased during CES 2026, and it even acts like a real pet.
According to the company, this AI pet starts out as an egg and grows in size as it ages, provided you take care of it, similar to the Tamagotchi pets found in the 1990s. Your adopted pet will come through three stages – baby, teen and adult. You need to pay more attention to the pet during the initial stage, and as he grows up he becomes more independent. However if you fail to care for it, it will ‘die.’ However, since it’s a robot, you can just start over.
5. Zeroth W1 Robot

If you’ve seen WALL-E, chances are you’ve always wanted to have a robot like WALL-E. At CES 2026, Zeroth showed off its W1 robot, which looks pretty much the same as the one we saw in the Disney movie. Although it’s not an official licensed WALL-E remake, Zeroth W1 can do some of the work for you.
According to the company, you can use the robot to carry heavy goods up to 50 kg. The W1 can also act as a game host and take photos with its 13-megapixel camera. However, this adorable companion will be priced at $5,599 (approximately Rs 5,00,000) in the US.
Nvidia’s new AI models for robots
Hardware wasn’t the only thing to look forward to at CES 2026. Nvidia announces new Cosmos and GR00T open models and data for robot learning and reasoning. The two AI models are for the physical AI hardware and powering the robot. This includes vision-based learning as well as completing real-world tasks. These two models could provide manufacturers an intuitive way to train and power their humanoid robots in the future.
Nvidia says companies like Boston Dynamics and LG are already using its technologies in their AI robots.
