Robbie Williams has a special request for the music industry following the death of former boy band member Liam Payne. He requested people from the music industry to come together and form a support group to help young artistes move forward.
The musician also started his career at the age of 16 by being a part of the pop band Take That. The singer revealed that he believes there should be “a think tank of empathetic and compassionate creators” who get together and “protect people.”
In his conversation with UK Express newspaper, Williams revealed that he has started to understand that fame is not the only element to survive in the industry and hence, will take initiatives to help upcoming artistes.
He explained, “If you’ve been following the story closely, we’re beginning to understand, maybe on a more subconscious level than a conscious level, that fame isn’t everything.
The British native continued, “Some people are lucky enough to make it to the other end, but a lot of people aren’t that lucky. “I would hope that something is done in Liam’s name to protect people, whatever that means.”

Meanwhile, Williams is struggling with the fame and popularity shown in the Netflix documentary series, which dropped on the streaming platform last year.
The series featured the musician’s struggle to find his place and his personality as a member of a group and later as an individual, as he went through a dark phase with his mental health challenges.
As for Payne, the young singer died at the age of 31 after falling from a third-floor balcony.
The One Direction band members were in Buenos Aires to support their friend Niall Horan, who performed in Argentina on 2 October. The late singer was in the country until October 16, the day he was declared dead after suffering fatal injuries.
Liam Payne was buried in London on 20 November.
