Today is the 72nd birthday of late actor Rishi Kapoor.Ra On the eve of the birthday, his wife Neetu Kapoor posted an emotional post in memory of the late actor along with an old photo from a party, writing what it would have been like if he had turned a year older today.
Today, on September 4, while fans of late actor Rishi Kapoor are paying tribute to him through social media posts, his wife and veteran actress Neetu Kapoor too has posted a special heartwarming post, in which she expressed her surprise that he would have turned 72 today. She further wrote, “Yaad mein (with a red heart emoji) would have been 72 today.” She also added a flower emoji.
In the photo, the late actor is seen blowing out the candles of his old birthday celebration. As always, he looked dapper in a black tuxedo with a white shirt and matching tie.

A few hours ago, Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared a cute throwback photo along with an emotional note dedicated to her father on this special occasion. In the photo, we can see his daughter Samara and her father who were clicked in a candid moment while preparing to cut the cake.
The joy was clearly visible on Samara and Rishi’s faces. Captioning the note, Riddhima wrote, “Happy Birthday Papa (with a red heart emoji). Wish you were here celebrating your special day with both your granddaughters. Your Bandari Sam is all grown up and baby Raha is the cutest – she’s your little daughter. Papa, we will always cherish the memories we got to share. We miss you so much and our love for you grows deeper with each passing day,” followed by a red heart emoji.
Apart from this, Bharat Sahni also shared a happy family photo of Neetu, Rishi and Ranbir Kapoor while Riddhima was seen holding her daughter Samara in her lap.
