It has been four years since the demise of late actor Rishi Kapoor and his fans still remember him. Rishi is survived by his wife, actress Neetu Kapoor, son, actor Ranbir Kapoor and daughter, jewellery designer Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. Riddhima recently reminded us of the days when her parents, Rishi and Neetu would spend time with their daughter Samara Sahni. She reminisced how Samara always “respected them”.
A few hours ago on August 19, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared an old photo of her family on Instagram. In her Instagram story, Rishi Kapoor can be seen taking a stroll with his granddaughter Samara. The late actor is holding the little girl’s hand as she looks at him.
The photo also features Neetu Kapoor who is walking behind him. Rishi wore a grey T-shirt and brown pants. Samara looked cute in a white dress and was holding a red paper bag in her hand.
Neetu has chosen a white and black outfit and she is looking in the other direction.

Earlier, in an interview with Anushka Arora on her YouTube channel, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni had told how the Kapoor family grieved after two deaths in their family. Everyone knows that Rishi Kapoor passed away in 2020 and Rajiv Kapoor breathed his last in 2021.
Riddhima said that the Kapoor family has come “closer” after suffering a big loss. She said that the family members now “take care of each other”. She said that they have come closer and united. Riddhima said that while the Kapoor family is not able to meet each other often, they still FaceTime each other.
Riddhima had a very close bond with her late father Rishi Kapoor. He was diagnosed with leukemia in 2018 and later moved to New York for treatment. He returned to India in 2019 and was hospitalised in April 2020 after suffering from breathing problems.
Riddhima is married to Bharat Sahni since 2006. The couple welcomed their daughter Samara Sahni in 2011.
