Actor Richa Chadha strongly condemned the brutal murder of 25 -year -old former junior tennis player Radhika Yadav. On July 10, he was allegedly shot dead by his father Deepak Yadav at his home in Gurugram.
The chilling incident expressed nationwide displeasure, especially emerging details indicating the weight of social decisions as patriarchal resentment and potential objectives.
On 13 July, Richa condemned the crime and criticized those who tried to justify the Act right on their X account. Her comments came in response to a video shared by Radhika’s friend, Himanshkha Singh Rajput. Himanshi revealed that Radhika was embarrassed to wear shorts for a long time, speak with men and choose to live independently.
“There is no respect in killing his own child. If the tongue said the goods before waving something, now the whole world will remember Deepak Yadav, forever, Deepak Yadav, Deepak Yadav, you have strengthened their place in history of history and strengthened their place as a coward,” posted by the actor.

She further read, “She worked so hard in her tennis career and even made her own academy. She was doing so well for herself. But she could not stand to see her independent. She embarrassed her to wear shorts, to talk to boys, to live life on her terms. She took her to hospital, but she did not make it (Sis).”

Police reports indicate that Deepak Yadav has confessed to the crime, allegedly inspired by disappointment on his daughter being financially dependent and taunting the society. Radhika, who ran a tennis academy and was the only breadwinner of the family, was shot four times, three bullets hit her back and one on her shoulder.
According to a report by Hindustan TimesGurugram police said on Sunday that they are not currently taking into account the statements made by friends or individuals, who share tributes and claims on social media.
Officials called it an “open and closed” case, saying that the charge sheet is being finalized based on solid forensic evidence and witness accounts.
