RGV praises Mirai for Hollywood-level VFX, compared to Bahubali
Director Ram Gopal Varma has praised Teja Sajj’s fantasy-action thriller Mirai for the outstanding VFX and Katha. The film is seen as an industry hit, comparing Bahubali and setting new standards.

Director Ram Gopal Varma recently praised the fantasy-through-thriller ‘Mirai’ of actor Teja Sajja. He compared the success of the film to ‘Bahubali’ and even equaled VFX and Katha to “Hollywood standards”.
Verma, on his X post, captioned, “a big shout @Tejasajaj 123 … @Karthik_gatta and @vishwaprasadtg to give an industry hit.”
Actor Srilela also shared a poster of ‘Mirai’ on his Instagram story and wished the team. He wrote, “Our superoda @Tejasaja_123 In our nearest theater !!! On my way to see Mirai! Best wishes to the team.”
Teja learn about his shocking past from a petty criminal Veda, an ascetic Vibha (Ritika Nayak), which helps him feel his real purpose in life. Their discovery to protect nine divine scriptures from evil forces sets a platform for a roller-coaster ride filled with adventure, humor, devotion and flexibility.

The film also stars actor Manchu Manoj as Mahabir Lama aka Black Sword. Jairam also has an extended cameo in the form of ancient sage Agastya under Karthik Gattamaneni direction. Actor Shriya Saran, Jagapati Babu, Rajendranath Zutashi and others also play important roles in the film.
India today, in its review for ‘Mirai’, wrote, “The film is a commendable attempt, not only for its entertaining story, but also for its unconventional and bold vision to create a fictional saga with Hollywood. The film is a one-day for his real depiction of his realization, ancient knowledge and philosophy.”
The film is co-produced by Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad. Due to its PAN-India appeal, producer Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions has distributed the Hindi-dubbed edition of the film.
‘Mirai’ was released on 12 September 2025.
