Report says
Samsung is rumored to use its flex magic pixel tech in the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra. This technique uses AI to change the angles of watching the screen when the user is publicly opening sensitive app.
Samsung’s Galaxy S series is one of the most popular flagship Android phone lineups. The Korean giants usually declare their latest generations in January every year. While the launch of the Galaxy S26 series is still some time far away, rumors have started doing internet. One of them, which is especially around the Galaxy S26 Ultra, suggests that it can facilitate an amazing performance upgrade.
According to the delasite, Samsung can use its flex magic pixel technique in the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra. This technique was first displayed at the Mobile World Congress earlier this year.
When the user opens a sensitive app, such as publicly opens the banking app, Flex Magic Pixel panel uses AI to adjust the angles of the phone. This prevents any person from taking a pinch on what is around the user, for more privacy.
Unlike the privacy screen guard, which reduces the glow or obstruction of the phone screen, is part of Samsung’s technique performance. This provides more privacy to the user without any compromise.
According to the report, the Samsung display has started production of these panels on a large scale and the S26 Ultra can be the first phone to use it. The rest of the S26 lineup will give it a miss. However, the company is allegedly planning to use technology in the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8.
Flex Magic Pixel Tech will be paired with color filters at S26 Ultra on Encapsulation (COE). The Coe replaces the polarization layer of an OLED panel with a printed color filter on a thin film layer. It helps to increase the brightness of the performance and reduce its thickness. The company first used the COE technology with Z fold 3 in 2021.
Samsung to bring a new ‘Pro’ model for S series in 2026
This year, Samsung launched four devices in the S series. The Aadhaar S25, S25 Plus and S25 Ultra were released during the normal timeline. However, the Korean giant announced an ultra-split S25 age in May. At a thickness of only 5.8 mm, the entire lineup was the thinnest in the lineup.
For next year’s major lineup, Samsung is planning a major overhaul. The company will return the number of phones three. While S26 Edge will replace S26 Plus, Base S26 will get a new name.
According to Android Authority, Samsung will change the S26 Pro name S26. This will be a new lineup which includes S26 Pro, S26 Edge and S26 Ultra. However, there is no official comment from the phone manufacturer on such development.
