OnePlus is currently ready for the launch of OnePlus 13T. This phone is going to come to China on 24 April. While its global and Indian availability is still uncertain, a new report claims that OnePlus is also preparing another new phone for India – possibly OnePlus 13S. This phone is said to reach the end of the second quarter of 2025.

A new report by SmartPrix claims that OnePlus is preparing to expand its major lineup-oneplus 13 in India-with a new device called OnePlus 13S. The phone is expected to be launched in India by the end of Q2 2025, possibly around June, possibly later later with a global rollout. Rentally, the OnePlus 13s will be a new ‘version within the OnePlus 13 series that is targeted on users who want a major level of experience, but comparatively more affordable value tag.

The report claimed that OnePlus 13S may be deployed to bring top-level features at the price point below the Ultra-Pramium segment-it makes a type of major killer. However, we already have OnePlus 13R, which sits in the Middle-Commium segment and offers flagship-level performance at a much lower price than a true flagship.

So, OnePlus will be in a position of 13s between OnePlus 13 and 13R? Or will it sit below 13r? Only time will tell. However, with the launch of OnePlus 13T, the talk around a new onePlus 13 becomes even more complicated about new plans for its Indian and global audiences in mid-range or premium space.

What is expected from OnePlus 13s

Coming back to OnePlus 13s, reports stated that the phone features a 1.5k AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate – offering a mixture of fast scenes and smooth performance while maintaining battery efficiency. Under the hood, OnePlus 13S is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8-series chipset, although the exact model is unconfirmed. Additionally, the phone is estimated to offer RAM up to 16GB and 512GB of internal storage.

On the photography front, OnePlus 13S is said to obtain a triple rear camera system supported by Sony sensor, which is completed with optical image stabilization (OIS). While specific camera specs are still not clear, the report states that one of the rear lenses can be a telephoto shooter. On the front, OnePlus 13S may have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calls.

13s will be allegedly shipped with oxygenos 15 based on Android 15. The report states that OnePlus 13S may usually include facilities reserved for high-end phones. These may include an in-display fingerprint sensor, although it is not yet clear that it will be an optical or ultrasonic module, as well as a high durability rating for dust and water resistance, with either IP68 or IP69.

Powering the phone is likely to be a huge 6,000mAh – similar to one in Flagship OnePlus 13. This will probably be paired with support for 80W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

OnePlus 13s India Pricing and Availability

In terms of pricing, the report suggests that OnePlus 13S can come in India with an initial price of about Rs 55,000 – offering many of the same flagship features at a more accessible price. The phone has also been tipped to come in two color variants: Obesidian Black and Pearl White.

While OnePlus sometimes keeps some variants exclusive to specific areas, in the case of OnePlus 13, the report suggests that it may be launched first in the Indian market, possibly the following with global release.
