Renukaswamy case: Karnataka government challenges Darshan Thoogudeepa’s interim bail order in HC

The discussion about challenging the interim bail of Darshan Thoogudeepa has been going on for a long time. The Kannada actor accused in the murder case of 33-year-old fan, Renukaswamy, has been released from jail on health grounds, granted interim bail only for six weeks.

Now the Karnataka government has filed a new petition in the High Court challenging this decision.

A special leave petition has been filed in the High Court by the Karnataka government challenging the interim bail granted to Darshan Thoogudeepa on October 30. The petition is expected to be heard as a new matter by the end of this week or early next week. ,

On 16 November, the first reports of Darshan Thoogudeepa’s bail being challenged were revealed. Bengaluru Police Commissioner B. Dayanand revealed that he will oppose the decision to grant interim bail to the accused actor.

In fact, there were rumors that the Home Department has accepted this proposal of the Police Commissioner and is working to cancel the bail.

For those unaware, Darshan Thoogudeepa was granted interim bail after she complained of severe back pain. The medical diagnosis confirmed that he required immediate spinal surgery.

In other news, actress Pavitra Gowda, the main accused along with Darshan in the sensational murder case, urged the court to quash any “conspiracy theory” claims in her bail plea.

The actress’ lawyer revealed that Pavitra was deeply hurt by the inappropriate messages she received from the deceased victim Renukaswamy. However, the defense maintained that she was not involved in any conspiracy related to the attack and murder of the victim.

Her legal team described the incident as a “sporadic incident” in the impeccable life and career of Pavitra, who had no prior criminal history.
