Reliance Jio has revised its prepaid plan Prasad, with a recharge pack of Rs 189 and its current rupee 448 recharge plan has been adjusted. The purpose of these changes is to provide more flexibility to users. here are the details.
Reliance Jio launched 189 prepaid plan
After being removed briefly, Jio has resumed its 189 prepaid scheme. Listed under the ‘Affordable Pack’ section, this pack provides 28 days validity, which provides users with 2GB of total data (speed of up to 64kbps decreases after reaching the data limit), Unlimited voice calls for the network, and 300 SMS. Subscribers will also have access to Jio services such as JioTV, JioCinema (except premium content), and JioCloud storage.
The scheme comes in response to recent regulatory guidelines from TRAI, requiring telecom operators to introduce voice and SMS-centric packs. For users who require basic connectivity at affordable value, this scheme serves as a suitable option.
Rs 448 jio prepaid recharge scheme revised
Apart from bringing back the Rs 189 pack, Jio has reduced a slight price in its 448 data + voice plan, bringing it down to Rs 445. The revised plan provides an unlimited voice of 28 days, 2GB data per day. Call, and 100 SMS per day. Subscribers also get access to various types of OTT platforms, including ZEE5, JioCinema Premium, Sonyliv, LionsSgate Play, and more.
This price adjustment explains the difference between various schemes of Jio. A voice-only plan of Rs 448, which no longer contains data, was earlier introduced for Rs 458 and was seen to be Rs 448, which is probably leading to price changes for 445 data + voice packs.
