Reliance Jio has launched a series of new country-specific international roaming (IR) packs. These packs are for popular travel destinations, including the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Canada, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, and several countries in Europe and the Caribbean. Here are the details.

Reliance Jio’s new IR packs have expanded its coverage to 24 Caribbean countries and 32 European countries. The packs offer features like unlimited incoming SMS and outgoing calls, including local calls within the visited country and calls back to India.

Moreover, incoming calls can be received from any country, and Wi-Fi calling is supported for such calls. However, it is important to note that outgoing local and international calls, as well as SMS over Wi-Fi, are not included in these packs.

Country-specific offers, plans

For those travelling to the UAE, Jio offers three plans. The entry-level pack is priced at Rs 898, which offers 100 minutes of outgoing calls (local and calls back to India), 100 minutes of incoming calls, 1GB data and 100 SMS with a validity period of 7 days.

There is a long stay pack priced at Rs 1,598 that offers 150 minutes of outgoing and incoming calls, 3GB data and 14 days validity. The premium option priced at Rs 2,998 offers 250 minutes of outgoing and incoming calls, 7GB data and 21 days validity.

In Saudi Arabia, options start at Rs 891, which offers 100 minutes of calls, 1GB data, 20 SMS and 7 days validity. The Rs 2,891 plan offers 150 minutes of calls, 5GB data, 100 SMS and 30 days validity.

For Canada, Jio offers a Rs 1,691 pack that offers 100 minutes of calls, 5GB data, 50 SMS, and 14 days validity, and a Rs 2,881 pack that offers 150 minutes of calls, 10GB data, 100 SMS, and 30 days validity.

Travellers travelling to Thailand can choose from a Rs 1,551 pack that offers 100 minutes of outgoing and incoming calls, 6GB data and 50SMS with a validity of 14 days, or a Rs 2,851 plan that offers 150 minutes of calls, 12GB data and 100SMS. This plan comes with a validity period of 30 days.

Characteristics for Europe and the Caribbean

The European IR pack priced at Rs 2,899 covers 32 countries and includes 100 minutes of outgoing and incoming calls, 5GB data and 100SMS with a validity of 30 days.

The Caribbean packs starting at Rs 1,671 cover 24 countries and offer 150 minutes of outgoing calls, 50 minutes of incoming calls, 1GB data and 50 SMS for 14 days.

The Premium Caribbean pack, priced at Rs 3,851, offers 200 minutes of calls, 4GB data, 100 SMS and 30 days validity along with free in-flight benefits.
