Since Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, the Christopher McQuarrie-directed series has set new standards in the action genre, pushing the boundaries with ever-increasing scale, death-defying stunts and world-wide intrigue.
Each film has become more ambitious, with Cruise performing increasingly daring stunts – from clinging to airplanes in mid-flight to falling from high altitudes.
Final Reckoning will bring the curtain down on a franchise that has become a staple of action cinema and cemented Cruise’s reputation as one of the world’s most dedicated action stars.
