After the successful re-release of films like ‘Laila Majnu’, ‘Rockstar’ and ‘Jab We Met’, the makers of ‘Rehnaa Hai Tere Dil Mein’ and ‘Tumbaad’ have announced plans to re-release these films in theatres soon. The announcement was made on August 27.

Sharing separate posts on social media, the makers of the respective films announced that ‘Tumbbad’ and ‘Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein’ will be re-releasing on Friday, August 30.

Directed by Gautham Menon, the film stars R Madhavan, Dia Mirza and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles. It is the story of a carefree and mischievous young man named Maddy, who is deeply in love with Reena, a woman he has never met but has only seen her in a photograph. The film shows the lengths to which Maddy goes to win Reena’s heart, even resorting to impersonating another man.

On the other hand, according to Pinkvilla, ‘Tumbbad’, a folk-based horror filmwill also hit the theatres on August 30. The film follows the central character’s search for a 20th-century treasure hidden in a village called Tumbbad.

It stars Anand Gandhi, Harish Khanna, Jyoti Malshe, Rudra Soni and Madhav Hari Joshi. ‘Tumbbad’ created history by becoming the first Indian film to premiere in the Critics’ Week section of the 75th Venice International Film Festival.
