Redmi Pad 2: Price in India
The base 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 13,999, which is for the Wi-Fi model. There is also Wi-Fi + 4G model, which costs Rs 15,999. It is for 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. 8GB RAM + 256GB storage will be sold for Rs 17,999. The device will be available in gray and blue colors, and from June 24, Amazon will go on sale through the official website of Xiaomi, and selects offline stores.
Redmi Pad 2: Glasses
Redmi Pad 2 has an 11 -inch display with 2.5K resolution. The screen supports the 90Hz refresh rate and becomes quite bright by 600nits. To protect the eyes of users, Xiaomi pairs triple Tuv Rheinland certificates. The display also supports the weight touch, allowing the screen to work even when it is slightly moist, something that can be useful in some weather conditions.
The tablet is powered by MediaTek Helio G100-AULTRA chipset. Xiaomi is offering devices in three variants: 4GB RAM + 128GB storage (Wi-Fi only), 6GB + 128GB (Wi-Fi + 4G), and 8GB + 256GB (Wi-Fi + 4G). Users also get the benefit of UFS 2.2 storage for smooth performance. Software on the device is Xiaomi’s latest hyperose 2.0, which is based on Android 15.
A standout feature of Redmi Pad 2 is its large 9,000mAh battery. Xiaomi claims that this battery can handle prolonged use on the same charge, which must be ideal for students, entertainment or lighting productivity. The tablet supports 18W wired charging via USB Type-C.
For sound, the tablet is equipped with a quad-spicker system that supports Dolby Atomos, which must provide a good audio experience during films or gaming. The device also supports a smart pen, which makes notes more useful for taking notes or casual drawing. In terms of cameras, users get an 8-megapixel sensor at the back and a 5-megapixel front camera for video calls and selfies. The tablet includes other features such as Google’s Circle to Search and Gemini AI, which are rare to find in this price category. Connectivity options include support for 4G (select variants), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port.
