Xiaomi brought Redmi Note 14 to the global scene today, a month after launching the phone in India. The phone is essentially the same with one big improvement in the camera department.
We also saw the debut of an LTE-only variant, which is an entirely new handset with a Helio chipset, a different footprint, and a new camera setup.

The international version, like its Indian and Chinese namesakes (which are two different phones), runs on the Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, although it is unclear how it is better than the regular 7025.

Upfront is a 6.67″ AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. The panel offers 2,100 nits peak brightness and is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. There’s a single punch hole for a 20 MP Selfie camera.
On the back, the Redmi Note 14 5G brings a 108 MP main shooter with OIS, a 1/1.67″ sensor with 0.64 μm pixels. There is also an 8 MP ultrawide camera and a 2 MP macro shooter.
We have to point out the Note 14’s IP64 dust and water resistance, which is a bump over the IP54 certification from its predecessor. The phone also has a 3.5mm audio jack, a feat we rarely see anymore, even on affordable devices.
Redmi Note 14 comes with a 5,110 mAh battery with 45W wired charging support. Xiaomi said there’s a 45W PD charger in the box, unless you’re living in the EU, where bundling an adapter with the phone is now prohibited.
The phone comes with HyperOS on top of Android 14 – Xiaomi is yet to release a smartphone with the current Android OS in the global market. At least the interface brings some AI features like AI Erase, AI Sky, and AI Beautify, and the Gemini app comes pre-installed for more generative AI features.
The color options of Redmi Note 14 5G are Black, Purple, and Coral Green. There are three memory variants – 6/128 GB, 8/256 GB, and 12/512 GB, but their availability is market dependent. Price will be announced soon.

The LTE variant of the Redmi Note 14 is definitely a downgrade in terms of performance. It is powered by Helio G99 which is over 2.5 years old.
The cameras are also less impressive – Xiaomi has kept the 108 MP main shooter with a 1/1.67″ sensor and 0.64 μm pixels but it lacks OIS. There’s also no ultra-wide camera – the other camera is a 2 MP depth sensor, And the third is a 2 MP macro snapper, at least the front-facing camera is the same 20 MP unit.
Looking at the front, the Redmi Note 14 sports a 6.67” AMOLED with Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate with Gorilla Glass on top. The panel offers 1,800 nits maximum brightness and is certified by TUV Rhineland for low blue light.
We have to point out that the phone has a larger footprint and hence, a larger battery than its 5G sibling with a 5,500 mAh cell and support for 33W wired charging. Again, unless you live in the EU, an adapter is included in the box.
This Redmi Note 14 has IP54 dust and splash resistance and also has a 3.5mm audio jack. Software-wise, we’re looking at another HyperOS phone with Android 14 and some basic AI features.
It comes in Black, Purple, Blue or Lime Green colors and has at least three memory options – 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB and 8/256 GB. The basic one costs €200/£180, while the middle version costs €230/£230. More Pricing and availability will vary by region.
