Xiaomi is all set to launch its next budget smartphone Redmi 13 5G on July 8. Ahead of the launch, the company has already revealed some key details. As per the dedicated page on Amazon, the Redmi 13 5G will feature a “crystal glass design”, offering a premium feel to budget phone buyers. You can read our quick review of the Redmi 13 5G. It will be the successor to the Redmi 12 5G smartphone that was announced in August last year and just after 10 months, Xiaomi is bringing the upgraded version to give consumers a better option under Rs 15,000.

Redmi 13 5G: Key Specifications

Redmi has the best choice for the design of Redmi 13 as its rear panel has a stunning glass cover. The smartphone has a dual-camera setup with a ring light on the top left of the back panel. The design of the upcoming device looks similar to the Redmi 12 5G. However, the ring light is a completely new feature.

The Redmi 13 5G has a large 6.67-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It also has a punch-hole notch which ensures a better experience. It has a punch-hole notch design and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Talking about the processor, the Redmi 13 5G is confirmed to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, the same chipset used in the Redmi 12 5G. The device will pack a robust 5,030mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging, ensuring quick power-ups and extended usage time. For optics, the Redmi 13 5G features a 108-megapixel primary camera along with a 2-megapixel sensor. The smartphone also features an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies.

Redmi 13 5G: Expected price

Apart from revealing the key specifications, Xiaomi is yet to announce the exact price of the Redmi 13 5G. However, we are sure that the upcoming device will be offered in the sub-Rs 15,000 segment. The launch date was confirmed just a few days ago. The launch will take place on July 9 at 12 noon on Amazon.

To recall, the Redmi 12 5G was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 10,999. Its successor, the Redmi 13 5G, is also expected to be priced in the same price range due to minor upgrades. Xiaomi may decide to offer the phone at a slightly higher price and offer bank discounts to budget-conscious users. But, the price is not confirmed yet.
