Realme Pad 3 5G will be launched on January 6

Set to replace the Realme Pad 2, the Realme Pad 3 5G is shaping up to be one of the most powerful Android tablets in its segment. Realme has confirmed that the new model will have a massive 12,200mAh Titan battery, which is a significant jump from its predecessor’s 8,360mAh cell. For binge watchers and work-from-anywhere users, this could mean a lot of screen time before reaching for a charger.

The tablet’s display will have a 2.8K resolution, with thin bezels to give it a sleek, modern look. Tipster Mukul Sharma has hinted that the Pad 3 5G may also have a 120Hz refresh rate, 296ppi pixel density, and support for 1.07 billion colors, all of which suggest a premium viewing experience.

Under the hood, it is rumored to pack a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max chipset and run Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0, which will bring the latest AI features to the tablet. Realme is also introducing its next AI for Pad tool, which is expected to include productivity and creative enhancements.

In terms of design, the tablet sports a dual rear camera setup with LED flash inside a square housing, which is available in black and gold colours. And yes, stylus support is part of the deal, making it more versatile for students and professionals.

Realme 16 Pro series launched in India

Along with the new tablets, Realme will also unveil its Realme 16 Pro 5G and Realme 16 Pro+ 5G smartphones, both of which pack some serious photographic firepower. The company has confirmed that each device will feature a 200-megapixel main camera, powered by Realme’s LumaColor image technology.

The 16 Pro+ variant takes things a step further with a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens and support for 4K HDR video recording at multiple zoom levels (1x, 2x, 3.5x, 7x and 10x). Users will also be able to capture dual-focal 4K video at 60fps for cinematic flexibility, while the front camera can also shoot in 4K/60fps.

On the software front, both handsets will run Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16, and the Plus model will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset. AI-powered camera features like AI Edit Genie 2.0, AI StyleMe and AI LightMe promise better editing and better portraits with minimal effort.

The phones will come in four stylish color options; Master Gold, Master Grey, Camellia Pink and Orchid Purple reflect realme’s continued collaboration with design maestro Naoto Fukasawa.

To round out the launch, Realme will also introduce a new TWS headset with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which will go on sale via Flipkart and the company’s online store.
