Realme P4x launched, this is the most affordable phone in India with 144Hz display and 7,000mAh battery

Realme has officially launched its latest smartphone P4x in India. This device is meant for users who want high performance and long battery life at an affordable price. The company has also launched Realme Watch 5. The P4x packs a massive 7,000mAh battery and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra SoC. If you’re planning to buy a new smartphone on a budget, here’s all you need to know about the Realme P4x.

Realme P4x comes with an “aerospace-inspired design”. You get a vertical pill-shaped camera cutout on the back, as well as prominent Realme branding. The device is 8.39 mm thick and weighs 208 grams.

The P4x gets a 6.72-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate, allowing for a seamless user experience. Maximum brightness is set at 1,000 nits. It is paired with a dual-speaker setup.

Realme claims that the P4x is designed to deliver segment-leading performance. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G chipset and is said to score over 780,000 points on AnTuTu. According to the company, the device supports 90 FPS gaming on BGMI and Call of Duty Mobile and up to 120 FPS on Free Fire.

The Realme P4x also gets a vapor cooling chamber to manage thermals during long gaming sessions.

The P4x gets a 50-megapixel AI main camera, which can record 4K videos. It includes AI features like Eraser, Motion Disabler and Glare Remover to enhance the photos. The front camera is an 8-megapixel unit.

Realme P4x has a 7,000mAh battery, with which it supports 45W wired fast charging. You also get bypass charging support if you want to use the device while it’s on charge.

Realme P4x launch and price

P4x will go on sale on December 10. The first sale will start at noon and will last for 12 hours, available on realme.com, Flipkart, and Realme’s official retail partners. The base 6GB/128GB variant is priced at Rs 15,999. The 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variants will cost you Rs 17,499 and Rs 19,499 respectively.

You also get an additional Rs 1,500 bank offer along with a Rs 1,000 coupon on Realme’s official website and Flipkart. You get a bank offer of Rs 2,500 on other mainline channels.

Realme P4x vs Redmi 15C 5G

Realme P4x sale starts a day before Redmi 15C 5G. The price of Redmi 15C starts at Rs 12,499. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, along with a 6,000mAh battery and a 50-megapixel main sensor. The 15C 5G comes with 10W reverse wireless charging, a feature not available on the P4x.

The launch of the Realme P4x coincides with the release of the Realme Watch 5. Developed in collaboration with Optimus Electronics Limited, the Realme Watch 5 features a large 1.97-inch AMOLED display, independent GPS, and HD calling. The Watch 5 is priced at Rs 4,499 with an offer of Rs 500 during the first sale. Its sale will also start on December 10 at noon.
